Born
Trevor James Mair on the 26 May 1972. Trevor was raised in the little
seaside town of Cullen, Moray in Scotland. Cullen was made famous for
its famous soup Cullen Skink. Trevor James, as he is now known, attended
Cullen Primary School & later went on to Buckie High School. After
leaving school Trevor picked up the trade of panel Beating and Paint Spraying
and his first job was at Buckie Body Shop. This job lasted for many years
but the temptation to entertain was boiling up in him. He had his first
taster of entertaining when he did his first public performance in the
early 1990's on board a ferry between Dover and France, in front of a
group of christian friends, and that was him hooked. Singing songs in
public eventually became his sole profession. Trevor
James moved away from the Elvis show and went onto being a successful
country singer performing songs made famous by the likes of Johnny Cash,
Charley Pride, Charlie Rich, George Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings,
Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson.
The country show consists of good ole country songs such as Crystal Chandeliers, Behind Closed Doors, Sunday Morning Coming Down, Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues, Good Old Boys and Swinging Doors. From
humble beginnings in the Scottish coastal town of Cullen, Trevor James
has steadily increased his following and today is popular throughout the
UK. His style of traditional country blended with his gospel roots and
the influence of Elvis on his career, gives his music a unique style that
offers something for everyone.
A cabaret solo vocalist, Trevor James is willing to travel to any area or venue, and has the charisma and talent that appeals to all ages and is guaranteed to captivate his audience with every performance he gives. Book
